- This episode satirizes a real life controversy that took place at Valley Traditional High School located in Louisville, Kentucky in 2006, where a teacher was suspended without pay for calling one of his students the N word (ending in "ga" instead of "er") to better relate to some of his other students. The news report that the episode opens with is a nearly verbatim re-creation of the real life news story covering the incident.
