Mr. Uberwitz is Huey's culturally sensitive teacher. He appears in the episode "A Huey Freeman Christmas".

He gives permission for Huey to put on a Christmas play. Ultimately the show is boycotted by the PTA, and Mr. Uberwitz is fired. In the epilogue, Mr. Uberwitz is said to have gone on to become a professor of African American Studies at the University of Maryland.
